P SHAPED CONSERVATORY EXTENSION
Some conservatory styles are more suited to the larger residence, the P-shaped design being a perfect example.
While the Victorian conservatory is an all-time classic conservatory style, sometimes it doesn’t offer the volume of spaciousness required by householders. A P-shaped design overcomes this issue due to the vast amount of floor space it provides and it still manages to retain elements of the Victorian style, bringing in lots of natural light.
Post-installation, this P-shaped conservatory now gives the occupants two incredible indoor and outdoor settings, elegantly set-up for the most luxurious dining and lounging – breakfast, lunch and dinner times will never quite be the same again.
A key component of the entire project wasn’t just the actual conservatory itself but the incorporation of patio doors into the extension. Without the patio doors it wouldn’t be as simple to switch from one environment to the other – how stunning is that courtyard that they lead out to! The small but invaluable passage they generate offers very neat access.
For enclosed dining, blinds have been added to the patio doors and surrounding glazed panes that can be partly or fully drawn to give everyone a little bit of privacy when consuming their food. A Yale lock has been incorporated into the patio doors to assure the occupants of maximum protection against outdoor intrusion.
