1. Hi Ian, what makes a great extension?

A great extension is one that adds real living value to the house and by that I mean it’s not just an extension for an extension sake. The best projects we’ve been involved in have all added living value; for example knocking through into a dining room to make an open plan kitchen and dining space or building over a garage to add an additional bedroom. These are the types of projects that tend to benefit the customer most from a living perspective and financially when they come to sell it.

The main reasons people never start are usually down to a combination of; finance, expertise and generally being unsure of where to start.
